Welcome to the home of Balestra Sword Fencing, where we have made it our central goal to share our enthusiasm of our wonderful sport of sword fighting with people of all ages and abilities, from all walks of life, in Manchester, the surrounding North West areas and beyond.

You name it, if it's to do with the introduction of the sport of sword fencing to new groups, we have it all, from beginner sword fencing classes for adults and children, fantastic safe and fun sword fighting parties for ages 7 year olds upwards, school sport sword fencing "experience" days, all the way through to to corporate events and team building, to name just some from the many areas in which we have worked.

But that's not all - with our modern sword fighting coaching methods, bright, state of the art equipment and oustanding experience and qualifications in the teaching and coaching of both children and adults, it is no surprise that our customers come back to us time and again for just one more taste of this wonderful sport.

All of our sessions have one thing in common - namely in the fun way we deliver our sport, using a combination of genuine, qualified sword fencing tuition and short games designed to get you fencing fast and accurately with the minimum of previous skill or knowledge of sword fighting. In other words, you need never have picked up a sword in your life to attend one of our classes, and you can be secure in the knowledge that within 10 minutes you will be sword fighting with the sort of accuracy and reaction you didn't even know you had!
